FAQ

  • My equipment measures 7x12x9 meters and weighs 97 tons. What is the most suitable and cost-effective shipping method?

Thank you for the details. For cargo of this size and weight, breakbulk shipping is the recommended and most viable solution. Breakbulk vessels are designed to handle oversized loads, with cranes capable of lifting 100–700 tons. Your cargo can be safely stowed on deck or in the hold, eliminating the need for expensive floating cranes—reducing both risk and cost.We will prepare a tailored securing plan and match your shipment with the most suitable vessel based on schedule and rate.
  • Why are breakbulk/Ro-Ro freight rates much higher than container shipping? What is includedin the quote?

Excellent question. We provide not just transportation, but a custom-engineered solution. The higher cost reflects professional lashing design for safety, specialized equipment for handling, and our end-to-end project management.
Our quote is an all-inclusive package, fundamentally different from container shipping, and typically covers the following core components:
1.Ocean freight: Calculated based on the space and weight (freight ton) your cargo occupies.
2.Port handling charges: The main cost driver-including dedicated berthing, crane or floating crane usage, professional lashing materials and labor, and stowage/separation materials.
    3.Documentation and customs clearance fees.
    4. Insurance: Highly recommended and can be listed separately.
  • How do you ensure the safety of my high-value equipment during sea transport?

We protect your cargo with a multi-layered safety system:
    1. Custom packaging - Shock-proof, moisture-resistant, and movement-secured.
    2. Engineered lashing -Certified plans with force simulation and matched securing equipment.
    3. Secure stowage -Priority placement in protected holds on reliable vessels.
    4. Insurance guidance -All Risks coverage with accurate value declaration.
  • What is required from the factory before loading?

To ensure smooth loading, we need the factory's support in the following areas:
    1. Provide technical data (center of gravity, lift points, 3D drawings).
    2. Mark cargo clearly (with COG, lift indicators, shipping marks).
    3. Ensure it is ready for transport(movable, to wable)and arrange delivery to port.
    4. Submit required documents (packing list, commercial invoice, proforma invoice).
  • What if breakbulk vessel delays affect my site installation schedule?

We acknowledge this key risk and manage it proactively:
1.Real-time tracking - You'll receive continuous vessel updates, including delays and ETA.
2.Buffer planning - We advise building2-4 weeks of buffer into your project timeline, as is standard in the industry.
3.Contingency options -For critical components, we can discuss air freight or split shipments to keep your project on track.
